Ian Duchesne, (that’s pronounced doo-shane)… originally from the UK, has been playing Melbourne pubs, clubs, restaurants and bars for over thirty years. During this time he has played with bands and duos, as well as performing extensively solo. Both solo and in duos, Ian has held a number of residencies for extended periods. For duo performances Ian works with a variety of talented singers and musicians.

Drawing on a huge and ever expanding repertoire of popular songs covering seven decades, Ian has the ability to deliver fresh performances week after week, always playing songs to suit the audience and occasion, sometimes throwing in some of his original songs.With just a guitar and his voice, Ian has a full sound that is easy to listen to. His experience shows, always delivering a performance that will impress and entertain. Whether for a bar, club, bistro, wedding or any special function; Ian can find the songs to suit.  If required, Ian can provide backing tracks for a full-band sound, or a mix of acoustic and backing tracks for the performance.
